Lots of inklings focus immediately on the Splat Zones at the start of the battle. That's probably quite sensible. But it also lets the occasional inkling slink behind everyone and try to clear the Splat Zones of opposition to make claiming them easier.
Admittedly, I go a bit far around the ...

I do enjoy skirmishing around Walleye Warehouse with a Tri-slosher. I like it perhaps more when there's a charger to harass, all friendly like. And, sure, we lose the Splat Zones initially, but it's not the end of the battle, and I somehow survive loads of ink being tossed around.
My ...

Right, time for some more concentrated splatting than with the Splatterscope. I pull out the Carbon Roller Deco to see if I can gain some Rank back. That early Seeker splat is nice, squidding in to a Splat Bomb less so. At least I get just about out of the ...

I'm not too impressed with being back down in A Rank, but I can make the best of my situation and pull out the Splatterscope for a bit. I'm fairly average with it at the best of times, and out of practice at the moment. But hopefully I can do ...

This has been another big losing streak. From the middle of S Rank, a brief will-I/won't-I in A+, and down to A Rank. It's just been one of those weeks. Well, let's see if I can have some fun with my new almost-favourite weapon, the Carbon Roller Deco.
I don't launch ...

Okay, my initial aim with the Seekers isn't great, and diving over the Tower to the orange side is a bad idea. The orange team get a decent lead as I flail around in the wrong place.
But my squidmates come together nicely to reset the Tower, and make our own ...

I'm going back to the Splatterscope for a bit, just to keep my aim in. As if I have much aim. The Kelp version today, for Splat Zones. The ink coverage and Killer Wail should help.
I try to concentrate on staying safe and sensible whilst providing support, which I can ...

I've seen that Splatling in a few battles now, and a couple on Walleye Warehouse. He always goes for that side of the map and shoots ink out from there. It's worked quite well so far.
Getting mired in ink with the Splatling on one side and a Roller somewhere else ...

I do like sneaking around the back, don't I? I like to think it indirectly helps the objective. I make a more direct effort this time too, on finding few green inklings around. It's a fair enough lead, and hopefully one we can improve on. I just need to avoid ...

I like Walleye Warehouse, and I like running around the back on Walleye Warehouse. But will it work on more experienced inklings? It doesn't look like it. I almost but not quite get a splat, and whilst I do nothing the other team takes an early lead.
My Bubbler is ready ...
