After seeing that I can make the Tri-slosher work on Camp Triggerfish Tower Control, I'm going to keep on using it.
Spurred on by my previous success, albeit with some less succesful games in-between, I take a more pro-active tactic of preventing the enemy from controlling the tower, by splatting them ...

Camp Triggerfish is not a great level for the Tri-slosher. But the other map is, Blackbelly Skatepark, and Tower Control is a good mode in general for the Tri-slosher, so I'm ready to have buckets of fun.
Riding the tower is always fun. So is getting a triple-splat, closely followed by ...

I vie for control of the tower at the start of the battle, wrest it out of two purple inklings suction cups, and do my best not to let go.
Ink management is not my strong point, it seems. Neither is noticing purple inklings behind the tower when I'm trying to ...

No one's safe in a Tower Control battle where every inkling cares about the objective and is fielding a short-range weapon.
Turf is controlled, the tower is moved one way and the other, specials fly all over the place, and it's anyone's game.

Excellent fun to play, excellent fun to watch back.

I quite enjoy the Tri-slosher for Tower Control still. I like advancing the objective, and riding the tower gives an obvious height advantage for the bucket. It also gives me another break from using the Splatterscope all the time.
The opposition get an early lead that looks hard to beat. If ...

I abandon Ranked for Turf War to give the Rapid Blaster a fairer test, but only encounter more frustration. I am not in the mood for continued failure whilst trying to learn a new weapon, so I grab my Tri-slosher and head back to Ranked, to see if I can ...

I know how to play Splatoon. I certainly don't press the reset-camera button instead of jump near the start of the game. But one thing I do is wear a t-shirt with the haunted trait. It's actually pretty decent, acting as a one-squid Echolocator whenever I'm splatted. And in Ranked ...

Okay, I don't make the best of starts, but I try to make amends by cutting off the other team's progress. And, okay, that doesn't go swimmingly either. But at least I'm there and trying. I have no idea where the others are.
Battling in the centre of the map still? ...

Maybe the Splatterscope isn't the best choice of weapon for Rainmaker with Saltspray Rig and Camp Triggerfish in the map rotation. The vantage points could suit the Tri-slosher better, so I give that a go.
The bucket certainly helps on Saltspray Rig, with all the differences in levels. And if only ...

Sneaking around the back of someone doesn't work too often, making it extra-sweet when it does. There is something quite satisfying about splatting someone so easily. Catching another slosher with my own slosher is satisfying too, making me think I'm doing something right.
Not quite doing something right, I wasn't quite ...
