An aim to head right around the back of the green team doesn't quite go according to plan, but what did I really expect? I may have started out along an unorthodox route, but it was one that takes me to the standard initial rush for the team. I was ...

Back down to A-, after some battles with unstable connections, a couple of disconnects for the full ten-point loss, and just being a bit bad in general. So it goes.
I've had the Splatterscope practice, now time to aim for some splatty action. I like the optimism of the inkling trying ...

Lots of inklings focus immediately on the Splat Zones at the start of the battle. That's probably quite sensible. But it also lets the occasional inkling slink behind everyone and try to clear the Splat Zones of opposition to make claiming them easier.
Admittedly, I go a bit far around the ...

Ink and capture our Splat Zone, and back off from trouble. That's a pretty good start. I couldn't quite anticipate that the Splash-o-Matic would sit and wait in his corner for inklings to come past, and get splatted a little cheaply, I think.
But back I come and start inking turf, ...

I've had some good fun with the Carbon Roller Deco tonight, so it's time to pull out the Tri-slosher for Tower Control. The bucket works well with a height advantage, so I head around the side to clamber up the wall. It's not a great position to be at the ...

Phew, no one wants the Rainmaker! At least, no one in purple. I squid around the side, on a whim because I'm back in A Rank battles, and find a sole green inkling shooting the Rainmaker's Shield, who is easy to splat, then ink a bit of a path below ...

I don't think I'm a bad player, but the way some battles go it's hard to convince myself otherwise. I'm not convinced my play-style changes significantly between battles, but the results can vary wildly. Still, I get the occasional moment that is definitely lucky, like apparently being in exactly the ...

Last time I was in S Rank I held my own for a fairly extended session. I would like to think I can enjoy my time here again, but as it's been a struggle getting back out of the A Ranks I am a little apprehensive about what the experience ...

I really do like Moray Towers, whatever the type of battle. Lots of vertical surfaces, side routes, back routes. I just find it like a little adventure each time I'm allowed room to skirmish around. Much like this battle.
I make a slightly different start, taking the jump to launch the ...

Straight around the back to the teal side of the map for me. The extra blocks in Museum d'Alfonsino for Tower Control make this much easier than in other battle modes, which lets me get the drop on what I assume is a charger hanging back. I move on to ...
