I forget how useful Seekers are in Rainmaker, and they've got better in general with their wider trail. They don't stop personal stupidity, though, and my eagerness to get past the Rainmaker, shield intact, is not my smartest moment.
I hopefully make up for that initial mistake immediately afterwards, with some ...

I think I contributed to this Rainmaker battle. I was pretty aggressive, and successful at splatting the opponents, at the start. I would like to say that I distracted the yellow squids enough to give my squidmates an advantage.

I don't think I did much afterwards, unless you count finding safety ...

I like my buckets, but I think the Tri-slosher Nouveau may be better for Rainmaker than the basic bucket, with the Seeker painting long straight(ish) lines. Not so handy on Ancho-V Games, perhaps, but I'll see if I can make them work. And can I survive without a Bubbler?
I get ...

I'm definitely an aggressive player, and this becomes fairly obvious in Rainmaker. I imagine my squidmates would prefer I occasionally wait for them to get ahead and splat the opponents or lay down a trail of ink. It would probably be a good idea too sometimes.

The maps in rotation are Port Mackerel and Flounder Heights. Both rather different. I could use the Splatterscope on the Port, and a Tri-slosher at the heights, but we don't get to choose the map out of the two. I plump for the Tri-slosher to start with, the Nouveau version ...

The Tri-slosher Nouveau is still working for me in the Splatfest, although I'm starting to feel the effects of its short range. Not to start with, thankfully, and neither when I take the side route in reverse to get to the opponents' base.
There's always so much more turf to ink ...

One of our squids disconnects early in the battle. This puts us at something of a disadvantage. Or gives us a challenge. Either way, we're not quite strong enough to overcome the odds.
My shoddy start to the battle doesn't help. Aiming that the wrong place, running out of ink, being ...

I stick with the Tri-slosher Nouveau for another Splat Zones battle, this time on Piranha Pit.
We're up against all shooters, which could be dangerous. Or maybe their lack of variety will play against them. As is usual when I have a bucket in my suction cups, I get slosh-happy and ...

After a couple of poor games with the .52 Gal, I swap weapons again. This lets me keep the battles fresh by mixing up my tactics, and gives me an excuse to exit the lobby with my current squidmates.
The Tri-slosher works well in Tower Control, and it should work well ...

Bypassing the Rainmaker to splat some squids becomes a more obviously good strategy at the start of this battle on Bluefin Depot. It looks clear, so I try to burst the shield, but the opponents catch up with my fast movement and splat me from behind. So it goes. I ...
