Perhaps a poor question to ask with a postitive splat ratio using the Splatterscope on Saltspray Rig. But I'm feeling outclassed in a string of games, and it's making me wonder if I'm just bad.
I'm sure it's a combination of things. Playing with/against better players, not making best use of ...

Not me, but I like to think I helped. At least by splatting the Rainmaker carrier at some point, and at the end with my Splat Bomb Rush.

There really wasn't much time to do much else. My squidmates were on top of it.
That battle is pretty short, so let's add ...

15-8 with a Splatterscope on Rainmaker? You wouldn't think that my Gamepad's low-battery light came on near the start of the game. Well, except for the excessive spinning of the camera when I try to get the power adapter plugged in between splats.

Back to the Splatterscope for Rainmaker, a dubious move for me, and I clearly don't have an opening strategy for Saltspray Rig yet. But I do like grabbing hold of the Rainmaker! And riding the platforms with a charger is a silly amount of fun.
How did I sneak a splat ...

Maybe the Splatterscope isn't the best choice of weapon for Rainmaker with Saltspray Rig and Camp Triggerfish in the map rotation. The vantage points could suit the Tri-slosher better, so I give that a go.
The bucket certainly helps on Saltspray Rig, with all the differences in levels. And if only ...

I'm pretty sure I've never played Rainmaker on Saltspray Rig before. I think there were problems with the map. Anyway, my inexperience probably shows, as I didn't take a minute to recon the map and its changes before plunging in, with my Splatterscope no less.

Sneaking around the back of someone doesn't work too often, making it extra-sweet when it does. There is something quite satisfying about splatting someone so easily. Catching another slosher with my own slosher is satisfying too, making me think I'm doing something right.
Not quite doing something right, I wasn't quite ...

After a couple of poor games with the .52 Gal, I swap weapons again. This lets me keep the battles fresh by mixing up my tactics, and gives me an excuse to exit the lobby with my current squidmates.
The Tri-slosher works well in Tower Control, and it should work well ...

My luck with the Splatterscope ran out in Splat Zones this session, so I switch to a different weapon. I'm giving the .52 Gal a try, as the Killer Wail should keep the Splat Zones covered, if I ever remember it, and the Splash Wall has shown to be useful, ...

The Splatterscope turns out to be a good choice to start a session of Splat Zones. Getting a decent perch in Saltspray Rig certainly helps, and keeping on the move to avoid being splatted is generally a good tactic.
I can't say I stay out of trouble, though. A couple of ...
