Hammerhead Bridge is a bit busy with obstacles. I don't consider there to be any great reasons to dash ahead, so I take it slow and steady, building a path, and some charge for my Bubbler. I then use cover sensibly, and try not to give away my intentions with ...

Phew, three chargers on our team, plus a Roller. Not a great composition. But look at the other team too, three E-litre 3Ks and a Hydra Splatling! This will be unpredictable. I can at least say with confidence that normal Tower Control tactics won't be applicable, so I'm just going ...

I've still not really got the hang of Hammerhead Bridge. I never really know what route to take, or what works. I fully expect to pop up on the other side of the Rainmaker and be splatted instantly, so it is a nice relief to get one splat and push ...

The Splat Zones are around here somewhere. Actually, I think I went past them. Never mind, I've found a charger to splat, and I slosh the back of the Roller as our Roller splats him too. A Blaster is hitting me from below, though, so I back off, which is ...

We have an S+ inkling in this squad battle. He's on the other team, with a Sloshing Machine. I like the ranking system because it pits me against inklings of a similar skill level. I don't much like squad battles (and smurfing) because of how this can subvert the ranking ...

Not focussing fully on the Rainmaker's Shield generally helps, as splatting an opposing inkling will reduce the incoming ink from the other team. I get a nice splat in this vein to start the battle, and move up to find a second splat as I hear my ink hit something. ...

Rollers can cover turf pretty well, but they are vulnerable doing so. Going in to the Splat Zones battle with three of them on our team will be interesting. I zoom my way forwards, thanks to a couple of Seekers, and just about avoid the Aerospray's ink to squid up ...

I take a long, rather convoluted route to the Splat Zones, but I'm not spotted this time. That lets me hit the purple team from behind, getting a couple of splats, whilst having my Bubbler charged and ready in case of trouble. The trouble comes from below, though, where I'm ...

I'm never quite sure what to do on Hammerhead Bridge. Straight down the middle doesn't seem sensible, but it's so skinny that hitting the sides rarely works. So, straight down the middle, just under the Tower, and hopefully pop up to splat an inkling. It nearly works!
I give chase to ...

I want to use my N-ZAP '89's range and Sprinkler to good effect as soon as possible, so head along to the right, where I can throw the Sprinkler above the Splat Zones, and keep my range from whatever early push is coming our way. It works out for me, ...
