It's taken a few battles, but I think I'm getting back in to the swing of aiming a charger. Well, as much as I was before. Maybe a little less. But I feel pretty good when I get a good splat from an awkward angle, realise a Roller is coming ...

I'm sticking with an unscoped charger for the moment, but doesn't the Hero Charger Replica have an extra two pixels range? Maybe, but even if it doesn't, it's pretty much the same as the Splat Charger, and it looks different. I'm still getting used to not zooming in, and having ...

I've had another run of mediocre battles. I am simply losing my chill, forgetting what I'm trying to learn. I realise this and resolve to do better. I think I achieve that here. I lay down some ink and pause to assess the situation. I get a bit lucky getting ...

Phew, no one wants the Rainmaker! At least, no one in purple. I squid around the side, on a whim because I'm back in A Rank battles, and find a sole green inkling shooting the Rainmaker's Shield, who is easy to splat, then ink a bit of a path below ...

I'm on another losing streak, so why not pull out the Splatterscope for some practice? It's good to see that squidmates still pointlessly jump where squidding would do, and block my shot up the building meant to help them, but so it goes.
It's also good to see that my aim ...

The Tri-slosher and Flounder Heights go together well for me. Splat Zones is more hit-and-miss, though. It's a good start to this battle, with a conventional move to the top of the Heights, capture our Splat Zone, and I chuck a Disruptor over the top to hopefully frustrate a green ...

The purple team are off to a flying start! Or one inkling is, which isn't quite enough to do much with the Tower, and we chase her off pretty quickly. I wonder where the other purple inklings are. Just slightly behind their first, it seems.
I climb up the Heights again ...

I'm not sure I approve of the trade at the start of this battle. I am trying to be cautious, inking some turf, and not getting in to trouble. But the number of times I am splatted by falling ink is getting on my nerves a bit. Still, at least ...

I get to the top of Flounder Heights nice and quickly again, and toss a Disruptor across the gap to try to catch any advancing inklings. Doesn't seem like I hit anything, but a purple inkling jumps across in to my Tri-sloshing!
My early dash means there isn't quite enough ink ...

Hello E-litre 3K on the other team! What can I do about you? Not much, if I get Disrupted in front of a Dynamo Roller. And not much if I don't know where you are, either.
And still not much if I don't splat the Dynamo Roller in time, refusing to ...
