I will probably never stop trying to get an early jump on the opposition at the start of some battles. The trade isn't so bad this time, but I still feel it could have gone better. Still, I am more measured immediately afterwards, and rely on my Seekers to ink ...

Maintaining our Splat Zone is a worthy task, but when our squidmates who've headed to the other side don't seem to make it, it seems pointless to only defend. I move around myself, and at just the right time to catch a green inkling coming my way. There's a second ...

It seems like those Splat Bombs won't stop being thrown across the gap, and I will keep flicking to cover their explosions for the rest of the battle. I'm almost relieved that the Splatling wants to get rid of me. Plus, it's great seeing my squidmate who got around the ...

My caution at the start of the battle pays off nicely. I get a splat instead of rushing in to being splatted, I spot the super-jumper coming in and wait for them to hop on to the Tower instead of being the target, and I clear the Tower and splat ...

No green inklings are splatted when the Rainmaker's shield bursts, so it's probably worth hanging back for now. To prove it, I splat the green Rainmaker carrier pretty easily. I move up and get two more splats quickly, although one of them is me, slipping in to the drink.
I head ...

Camp Triggerfish Rainmaker has a great opening move for the Carbon Roller Deco. Release one Seeker to start, a second as soon as your ink tank can, and you'll reach the Rainmaker with one Seeker hitting its shield, a second ready to go, and probably before the other team.
I grab ...

I didn't know our Rainmaker carrier was going to head left, although maybe I should have anticipated it. My prospective forward Seeker leaves me with barely enough ink to rush the Rainmaker forwards to start with, but I get enough back to spearhead the push.
We meet a little resistance, but ...

My opening gambit doesn't work very well, perhaps leaving my squidmates one inkling down letting the green team get the upper hand. Then again, they dominate us for a while, so maybe I'd just have been splatted going along the main corridor. My second attempt doesn't go any better, with ...

Everyone's rushing forwards to start the battle. I like this! We zip through our Splat Zone and head down the side, where two blue inklings are coming. I go in beak first, and end up splatted, but I take one inkling with me. The second is splatted by a squidmate, ...

I like this side route on Camp Triggerfish Rainmaker. If you can just squeeze under the gate, you can move around the side quicker than inklings expect, which lets you appear on their flank as rather a surprise. Add a bit of caution, and you can control the centre of ...
