Swapping the Splatterscope for the Splattershot Jr, I am aiming to be more mobile, which means I want to flank the opposition. Going the long way around takes time, but if I can get behind the other inklings, the surprise should be worth the effort.
My plan goes a bit wrong ...

First things first, orientate myself correctly for the Splat Zones. Bluefin Depot may be rotationally symmetrical, but the Splat Zones are not, and I don't want to rush to the wrong zone again.

One charger per team. Who will win?
We take the lead, and I push forwards to cover more turf. The lead is taken away, and I get too close to an Inkstrike. But I keep my shots mostly on target, staying aware that the E-litre 3K can outrange me.

E-litre 3Ks, huh? What can you do? Get in to pointless duels with them, apparently.
Playing the support role looks to be a good idea, as the other side are keen to keep the turf purple, making their pushes more quick and effective. But one of them isn't expecting me to ...

A few missed shots, just to get my eye in, then I seem to be having a good battle of Tower Control. Keeping my range, using my sub, keeping the opposition at bay.
A mere splat by some keen squid won't keep me down, either. And my squidmates actually seem okay ...

I'm not sure if this is a good game or not. One splat, once being splat, not greats stats, but I help keep the turf in the Splat Zones inked. That's the goal, right?

That's all rather brief. Let's have a second battle: Pushed back in Tower Control

Bluefin Depot was my bogey level at the start of the evening, getting splatted everywhere by squids almost completely ignoring the tower. Even with my change from the Tri-slosher to the Dual Squelcher, would this change? Thankfully, yes.
The tower was the focus of attention: they wanted us off of ...

Bypassing the Rainmaker to splat some squids becomes a more obviously good strategy at the start of this battle on Bluefin Depot. It looks clear, so I try to burst the shield, but the opponents catch up with my fast movement and splat me from behind. So it goes. I ...

Rainmaker is as much about turf control as it is moving the Rainmaker. If your ink covers the turf, you have free movement and your opponents don't. This doesn't help directly with the goal of dunking the Rainmaker, but it denies your opponents access to and movement with the Rainmaker, ...
