Tower Control is more of my bag than Splat Zones, and after yesterdays salty times I think I'll pick up a Splatterscope and see if I can relax at the back of the map. Or if we are pressed back, blame everyone else for not holding enough turf. And I ...

The battles move to Splat Zones, but I stick with the Carbon Roller Deco. The Warehouse is where I had my first decent Carbon Roller battle, so I'm hoping lightning will strike twice. At least during one of my matches.
Seekers and rolling are good for movement and inking turf, and ...

Time for some quick Carbon Roller Deco fun before the battle modes change. The Seekers help us get to the centre of Arowana Mall nice and quickly, and I sneak past the Rainmaker to gives us an early advantage. That jump-splat would have been legendary, I reckon.
Back along the side ...

Okay, I said it's easier to move from the Carbon Roller to the Tri-slosher, but the evening starts with Rainmaker on Moray Towers and Arowana Mall. This calls for the bucket! Once again, it seems like all the cool kids come out to play on a Monday night, so the ...

I rush to the centre of Arowana Mall, as I tend to,but with the intention of sneaking around the back. I am stalled by a similar inkling from the other team, and have a squidmate to thank for my not getting splatted so soon. I don't last too much longer, ...

I swap back to the Tri-slosher in an active move to win some battles. I make it to the centre without problem, get a decent sloshing splat, and accidentally avoid a Tri-slosher's attention. The Rainmaker is lost by the teal team, so I think I can afford to continue forwards ...

I like to think I'm getting the hang of the Carbon Roller Deco. Or just being a better inkling. Look how I try to launch a Seeker as I reach an edge at the start of this battle, am low on ink, and continue Rolling without breaking stride. And although ...

Seekers are pretty good for inking a path, handy for early in the battle as much as when the oppositions' ink is everywhere. But they are really ink-hungry, which even with a Roller can cause me to run out of ink when I need it. I need to be aware ...

Arowana Mall has been a good map for me with the Splatterscope. But there's one on the other team too. They seem rather more competent than me with the charger too.
I do little at the start of the battle, and the other team get a decent lead that looks tough ...

Back along the side route to start with. I think it can get me to the middle just about as quickly as the centre route, but with a bit of elevation for protection. If only the Rainmaker didn't point my way.
I show perhaps a little too much caution on my ...
