This one is a bit embarrassing. After a decent start to the battle, including a beautifully timed shot, just about everyone disappears, disconnecting from the battle.
That leaves me and a squidmate, against one Soda Slosher. What's embarrassing is that the Soda Slosher is better than my squidmate and me combined. ...

I come back after a few days away to Rainmaker in Ancho-V Games and Flounders Heights. I should opt for the Tr-slosher, particularly as I am still in A+, but I keep the Splatterscope equipped. I'm sure I'll do just fine.
I feel a bit unlucky with that Splat Bomb missing ...

The bucket's working well for me. I am getting splats, which helps out the team, and makes me feel like I know what I'm doing. Maybe one day I can feel that way regularly with the Splatterscope.
I hope that the early clutch of splats is an indication of the battle ...

Time to bring out the bucket so that I can restore some dignity to my inkling. That's the plan, but the laggy feel to some of these splats isn't helping me feel in control. But I do what I can, which after that first splat means getting inky revenge.
Going behind ...

I'm really not that good with a charger, which I am proving tonight in A+ Rank Tower Control. Or perhaps other players are just much better than me, if there's a difference. Still, I need the practice, and don't want to rush back up to S Rank until I'm better, ...

I go one way, but bump in to inklings. So I go the other way, and bump in to inklings. Never mind, the start is nearly always chaotic. Disrupting the Rapid Blaster easily makes up for any early hiccup, including not splatting in the incoming super-jumper.
I try out-flank the inklings ...

Ancho-V Games is a fun map, but not one that benefits my rushing in to the centre. I try instead to build up the charge on my Bubbler, and then toss that idea out of the window and get stuck as the platform rises, putting me in a crossfire.
Not a ...

My decline in rank seems inexorable. I thought I could sacrifice some points by practicing new weapons and easily gain them back, but once I hit A- it seems that I am stuck here. Even turning to my trusty Tri-slosher doesn't seem to help, as I lose battle after battle, ...

I can't stay away from the Splatterscope. Sometimes I even have a good battle with it. And I think I prefer the plain Splatterscope than the Bento version, as the Splat Bombs come in far too useful, as I demonstrate early on. I also show that I can aim sometimes.
I'm ...

I like my buckets, but I think the Tri-slosher Nouveau may be better for Rainmaker than the basic bucket, with the Seeker painting long straight(ish) lines. Not so handy on Ancho-V Games, perhaps, but I'll see if I can make them work. And can I survive without a Bubbler?
I get ...
