Annoying the E-litre 3K in Splat Zones (7-2, Tri-slosher)
30th May 2017 – 7.00 amI really like Moray Towers, particularly with a Tri-slosher in my hands. I quite like Moray Towers Splat Zones too, even though it can be challenging to cross the central area, particularly with a charger around. That E-litre 3K looks menacing too, as its range can more than cross the central area.
I am also trying not to get splatted too early these days, so I take the first ramp and jump the gap to be above our Splat Zone, from where I can slosh ink down in relative safety to begin with. With a good Disruptor throw ahead of me, slowing down a bold teal inkling, I drop down to, well, find the Suction Bomb neatly thrown in to our Splat Zone.
I decide to be more direct as I return, dropping down quickly and hitting the hidden ledge. I see an inkling coming my way and so I'm prepared for the splat, and it seems the teal Splat Zone is now undefended. I capture it for us, taking some pressure off our own Splat Zone. From there, I head up the side route, and think about going higher, but look for the E-litre 3K on his perch. I get there seconds before a Killer Wail looks for him too.
From the E-litre 3K, I head up. A teal inkling is inking the Splat Zone from one of the grates, which makes it safer for me to approach. My sloshing doesn't quite do the job, but I have a Bubbler to back me up. And with the Splat Zones purple again, I am under pressure from behind. I am a bit clumsy in my approach and sloshing, but the E-litre 3K is thankfully clumsier.
I am pursued as I was pursuing, but there are so many ledges and drops on Moray Towers I can get away. My reactions are poor when my chaser goes after a squidmate, but my sloshes reach out below me to finish the splat. Now I cheekily await for the E-litre 3K. Badly, as it turns out, as I give my position away, but I still somehow come away unsplatted.
I move up and help recover the Splat Zone, now with a charged Bubbler, which encourages me to find the E-litre 3K again, who is probably coming back by now. There he is, and there he goes. But my luck runs out, when I don't think of a Disruptor soon enough, then miss my throw, and run in to too much ink.
I think we've done enough, though. Before I get far from our base, the battle is won. Woomy!
