The Tri-slosher is really working for me today. I stick with it for Splat Zones, and go with my original strategy on Arowana Mall. Sadly, I get distracted by a possible splat in the Splat Zones, instead of trying to flank down the side, and get splatted by a Slosher.

I realised in a previous match that there is no point squidding on the drop down from the base in Museum d'Alfonsino. You don't fall faster. Instead, I ink all the way down, which hopefully is a bit more productive.
I also realise that my Tri-slosher can get pretty good coverage ...

I like Arowana Mall. But instead of using the Splatterscope and sitting on my perch, I'm sticking with the Tri-slosher after its excellent outing yesterday.
And I have a plan for the start of the battle. I will rush the centre, then ignore the Splat Zones and attempt to flank the ...

The battle mode changes, as do the maps, and with Port Mackerel and Camp Triggerfish available for Rainmaker I go back to the Splatterscope. Those lovely long corridors should suit the charger well.
Nope, not really. Well, not in my tentacles. This is actually a pretty poor battle for me, getting ...

The Splatterscope is satisfying to play well, but the Tri-slosher is just so much fun! I swap to give the bucket a go in Tower Control, and it works out better than I'd hoped.
I go the first minute of the game without getting splatted whilst flanking the opposition, Disrupting one, ...

I'm back with the Splatterscope! I'm hoping that having a tower to aim for will get me some splats without having to aim too hard. But we can't have everything we want, it seems.
But I do get some splats! Splat Bombs get me some splats, mostly, particularly the Splat Bomb ...

I haven't given up on the Octobrush, but am moving between weapons to have a more familiar end to the session.
The Splattershot Jr doesn't go as well as I'd hope, so I go back to the Soda Slosher, which I recently added to my inky arsenal.
The frist splatting is a ...

I'm sticking with the Octobrush Nouveau, probably for a bit. This is my second battle with it, and I obviously don't have the hang of it yet. Don't let that first splat fool you. But of course I don't have the hang of the brush yet, because it will take ...

A losing stream has me plummetting down the A+ Rank. That makes it time to try a new weapon! A brush, I think, and the Octobrush Nouveau looks like a decent option. I'll give it a go.
Of course, I take it out to Sheldon's trial zone first, but even though ...

Surprise Rainmaker! I was trying to jump across the grate to continue sloshing, and thought my squidmate picked up the Rainmaker. Nope! Okay, we get a three-point lead, but I don't think it was worth the splat.
I notice a motif in this battle. The other team like to lie in ...
